Brazilian superstar Neymar has reportedly called United midfielder Paul Pogba amidst his feud with manager Jose Mourinho to see if the Frenchman would be open to a transfer to the capital city.
Having become friends over the past two years, Neymar tried a similar tactic to get Pogba to join him at Barcelona in 2016. Already holding one of the most explosive offences in the world, some believe that adding Pogba will offer the Parisians the boost they need to further their Champions League conquests.
Despite Neymar’s influence, Betfair Sportsbook have dramatically lowered the odds on Pogba to remain at Old Trafford following the January transfer window. Sitting a 9/4 earlier this week follow another poor performance from the squad, they now sit at just 1/4 with tensions simmering.
The move to PSG, which was previously 7/2 has shot all the way up to 13/2, showing that oddsmakers believe it will be the manager to go before United’s highest earning player.
