Joao Moutinho: Wolves to sign Portugal midfielder from Monaco
Wolves are setting towards signing Moutinho, Portuguese midfielder from Monaco for £5m.
Joao Moutinho, 31 year old, former Porto player helped Portugal to win at Euro 2016 and is the third most capped player, after Cristiano Ronaldo (154) and Luis Figo (127). Moutinho with 113 caps, is close to join the Wolves in the Premiere League on a two-year deal.
Joao Moutinho started his career with Sporting Lisbon prior to joining Porto back in 2010. He won the Primeira Liga in 2011, 2012 and 2013. £21.5m was paid by Monaco to sign Moutinho back in 2013 and he scored 11 goals in 211 games for the club, helping them win Ligue 1 in 2017.
Following Rui Patricio, his international team-mate to Molineux, he is expected to partner with Ruben Neves in midfield.
